Strategies for Winning the Talent Supply Chain War in High-Tech Manufacturing

Innovation in locating, attracting, and retaining the workforce of the future can be equally challenging as the innovation needed to develop the products of the future. Gaining and maintaining access to star talent is what makes the difference between an organization that just survives and one that thrives. In recent years, scaled-down immigration programs to protect national borders as well as the COVID-19 pandemic effectively shut down traditional top-talent global supply chains. So how can firms return to winning the talent war? What are the key strategies that successful high-tech manufacturing firms are adopting today to be successful in this arena? Critical evidence gathered from research across multinational firms on three continents will be explored to answer these and other pressing talent questions.
