Why Sponsor?  

Promote your company and engage with 200+ Penn State attendees and 100+ external visitors at Materials Day 2024. This event is Penn State Materials Research Institutes’ largest outreach event of the year and sponsorships have proven to be a valuable way to promote your organization while making new connections in the materials community at Penn State, and with government and industry attendees.  

Sponsorship Types 

  1. Exclusive Major Event Sponsor (both days): $5000 (1 available)  
    Your name & logo will be featured on all Materials Day emails and the Materials Day website. In addition to verbal recognition during the Keynotes, and at the reception, your logo will be prominently displayed outside each location at this event.  5 complementary sponsor registrations included.  
  2. Materials Day Reception (Day 1): $3000 (1 available)  
    At the reception, your company will receive a verbal recognition and your logo will be prominently displayed at beverage and food locations.  3 complementary sponsor registrations included.  
  3. Lunch: $2000 (2 available; Day 1 or Day 2)   
    A light lunch will be served in-between the Poster Sessions on Day 1. On Day 2, a lunch will be served in the Millennium Science Complex in the 3rd Floor Commons area.  A ticket printed with your company logo (required for lunch attendance) will acknowledge your company’s sponsorship, and recognition will also be noted on the Materials Day website.  2 complementary sponsor registrations included.  
  4. Breakout Session (Day 2): $1000 (4 available)
    There will be 4 Breakout Sessions. Your sponsorship will be acknowledged through a prominently displayed poster and verbal recognition at the session. These are 90-minute-long sessions with a mix of expert presentation and attendee participation.  1 complementary sponsor registration included.  
    Breakout topics include 
    • Critical minerals with a focus on AI, health, and social acceptance
    • Recycling, reusing of composites and life cycle assessment (LCA) and techno-economic analysis (TEA)
    • Digital twinning with a focus on materials design and manufacturing and additive manufacturing processes
    • 3D printing bio-functional implants and materials at the human health interface
  5. Industry Tabletops (Day 1): $900 (~20 available)
    Showcase your tabletop booth during the two Poster Sessions on October 29th at the HUB. This can serve as a launch point for further collaboration between Penn State and your company.  Exhibit your company with signs, a banner, or poster, along with your branded marketing materials and handouts. 6 ft table will be provided.  1 full Materials Day registration included.
